Sand sculpture museum at Mysore attracts lots of visitor and has become one of the popular destination for tourist. There are several museum in and around the area of KC Layout. Mysore being famous for silk and sandalwood is now becoming famous for its museum such as was museum, shell museum, railway museum and many more. I have named the road as museum road as it has lots of museum on it. The privately owned museum by M N Gowri, a sand artist, has some prepossessing attraction sculpture to it. Practical information of Museum

The museum is spread in 13500 square feet and it took almost 100 trucks of sand to complete all the sculptures. It remains open everyday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Entry fee for the museum is Rs. 40 per person, no extra charges for camera. It will take 1 to 1.5 hours to mesmerize the alluring structures.

There are several shop nearby museum and if you hadn’t been to coorg then you can shop handmade choclate, coorg instant coffee and coorg spices. There is also a shop of Mysore sandalwood products and silk sari.
